Cafe General Manager

Location: Washington DC

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 a year

What you’ll do:

  •  Oversee the store’s daily operations
  •  Set the tone in your location & bring energy to everything you do while inspiring your team to do the same.
  • Work side by side in position with your teammates.
  • Responsible for the store’s overall profitability by managing your P&L, achieving sales, cost of goods, and labor targets.
  • Always encourage development amongst your team by having conversations and reviews with teammates.
  •  Lead by example and set the bar for your store’s Health & Safety and ServSafe compliance.
  • Play an active role in the community through our value proposition in your neighborhood.

Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of two 2 years experience as a General Manager in a full-service restaurant.
  • You have worked in various roles in hospitality and have a passion for service and understand what is needed to provide a premium coffee shop experience.
  •  You have proven achievement of key performance indicators and can articulate which key actions you implemented to drive performance.
  •  You have solid financial acumen skills and can run a P&L, budget, and forecast sales.
  •  You are organized and detail-oriented & strong interpersonal and communication skills.
